Due to scheduled network maintenance, MITnet (wired, wireless, VoIP and BMS) will be unavailable at times in Building E38 basement, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors on Saturday 6/13/26, between 6:00am and 2:00pm.

Roles database maintenance Jun 16, 2026 17:00-21:00 EDT

The roles database system will be undergoing maintenance between 5pm and 9pm on Tuesday, June 16.
During this time, users will be unable to modify account authorizations. Existing authorizations will continue to work as normal.

Monitoring - A fix has been implemented by the vendor handling emergency call routing and we are monitoring the results.

Update - We are continuing to investigate the issue. At this time, we believe it is also affecting 911 calls placed from campus phones. If you need emergency assistance, please dial 911 from your mobile phone or call MIT Police at 617-253-1212. All other telephone services are operating normally at this time.
