IS&T will be performing some fiber maintenance on the uplink circuit for the building, in an attempt to fix some errors detected on the switch interface. A temporary (~10 minutes) network outage will occur linking the building to MITnet between 5-6am on Wednesday morning April 30th. Posted on

On Wednesday 4/30/25, between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. IS&T will be completing a minor configuration change to the campus telephone system. No interruption of service is expected.

The Spectrum Protect (TSM) server oc11-bk-ent-1 will undergo maintenance. If all goes well, the work will take 30 minutes. During the outage IS&T will add disk space for the Spectrum Protect database. Please note that during the upgrade backups to and restores from oc11-bk-ent-1 will be unavailable. This work will not affect other Spectrum Protect servers, or desktop backups made via Code42/Crashplan.
