Student Systems (MITSIS) Planned Maintenance Jun 19, 2026 08:00-13:00 EDT

Student Systems (MITSIS) will be unavailable due to maintenance from 8am to 1pm on Friday June 19.
All student systems applications will be unavailable during this time.
Applications that will be unavailable include Add/Drop, Pre-Reg, MITSIS, WebSIS, and Schedule.

AFS maintenance Jun 19, 2026 10:00-17:00 EDT

On Friday IS&T will be upgrading two AFS servers (leda.mit.edu and moby.mit.edu). All of the data on them is redundant and will be retrievable from other AFS servers, but users may see short timeouts (generally under a minute) during the work.

Monitoring - A fix has been implemented by the vendor handling emergency call routing and we are monitoring the results.

Update - We are continuing to investigate the issue. At this time, we believe it is also affecting 911 calls placed from campus phones. If you need emergency assistance, please dial 911 from your mobile phone or call MIT Police at 617-253-1212. All other telephone services are operating normally at this time.
