IS&T will be working with the vendor of the optical network equipment to reset an amplifier along the MIT Regional Optical Ring. No service disruption, with respect to network connectivity, is expected, but one of the redundant paths around the ring is expected to temporarily (~10 minutes) drop while the maintenance is completed.
