The Athena dialup.mit.edu servers will be taken out of service and rebooted, in two groups, in order to receive software and security updates, and migrate them to a different cloud. Most users will not need to take any action, but users with persistent sessions will need to be mindful of the following schedule and migrate their session accordingly:

IS&T will be upgrading the hardware hosting the moira service management system starting around 8pm. During this maintenance period, services providing access to moira will be unavailable, including, but not limited to, groups.mit.edu, sponsored-accounts.mit.edu, listmaker.mit.edu, moiraws.mit.edu. APIs accessing moira through mulesoft and AWS will also be inaccessible and moira clients on the athena dialups will not operate. Password resets will not be available while the service is down.
